Desert Financial Foundation's Seasonal fundraiser that benefits Phoneix Childrens, 1 Darn CoolSchoool and Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals

Support children learning, healing and growing

Every year, thousands of children like Cooper (pictured) need critical medical treatment at Phoenix Children’s. Because of your generosity, these children will receive the support they need to continue their education while they recover through the 1 Darn Cool School at Phoenix Children’s.

This inspirational program is staffed by eight full-time master’s level teachers and provided 10,207 patient education sessions in 2022! The 1 Darn Cool School provides the patients of Phoenix Children’s a sense of normalcy as they heal, learn and grow. But it could not be done without the generous support of donors like you!

Desert Financial Foundation has committed to raising $40,000 for the 1 Darn Cool School at Phoenix Children’s this spring and we need your continued support! Your tax-deductible donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $40,000 (overall) by the credit union! That’s a total of $80,000 to support the continuing education of the patients at Phoenix Children’s. Together we can make a difference!

“I’m able to work with kids individually, and really help them stay connected with their school and have a desire to go back to and be successful." - Virginia, Teacher
