CHANGES TO YOUR ONLINE BANKING

Your online banking will look and feel a little different soon. We’re redesigning our online banking to give you a new look and easier navigation – starting with our desktop and followed by our mobile app.

Instead of the buttons along the side of the screen that you’re used to seeing, there will be a streamlined content bar with just a few drop-down options that will give you fast and easy access to all the same features that you’ve been using.

The refreshed design of our desktop and mobile app will make our digital banking experience easier to navigate and provide fast and easier access to key features and services.

The desktop updates will take place in late June 2022, followed by updates to our mobile banking app.

  1. You get a simplified navigation menu that allows you to quickly find the tools and information you need instead of searching for the right button.
  2. There is an enhanced accounts experience that allows you to easily navigate to your desired task by simply sliding the account cards and tapping the quick action buttons.
  3. In the mobile app, you will be able to toggle your view on the Remote Deposit Capture screen to deposit a check or glance at the activity.

No, they have access to the same tools and features they have today. While the initial starting point and navigation will be modified, the steps and processes to complete a transaction are largely the same. No. Updates to the desktop and mobile app are automatic. However, if you are not set up to receive automatic updates for their mobile applications, you may need to manually update the mobile app.

There are two ways to see the app version (on both Android and iOS):

  1. Upon launch of the app, the splash screen will display the version number.
  2. Within the application, you can also navigate to the bottom bar and tap More. The version number will be displayed in the footer at the bottom of the menu list items.

For any Android device:

If you do not have automatic updates set up on your Android device, you can set auto updates by:

  1. Opening the Google Play Store on the Android device
  2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner of the screen
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Tap Auto update apps
  5. A pop-up window will ask you to select your auto update preference, then select done

If you do not want to have automatic updates but need to manually update the application, you would need to:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on the Android device
  2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner of the screen
  3. Tap My apps & games
  4. You can update all your apps or tap the Desert Financial application to start the update

For any iOS device:

If you do not have automatic updates set up on their iOS device, you can set auto updates by:

  1. Opening the Settings app on the iOS device
  2. Tap on App Store
  3. Toggle on App Updates to turn on automatic app updates

If you do not want to have automatic updates but need to manually update the application, you would need to:

  1. Open the App Store on the iOS device
  2. Tap your user profile icon in the upper-right corner
  3. Scroll down to Available Updates
  4. Tap Update next to the Desert Financial application to update only our app, or you can tap Update All, which will update all your applications
